Para llegar a él tomamos un estrecho y colorista bote con motor con el que cruzamos los manglares (unas de las pocas plantas que pueden sobrevivir en agua salada). Se puede cenar mientras un músico toca la Kora y, al estilo tradicional, va componiendo estrofas sobre lo que allí sucede. Gambia tiene una tradición artística importante (aunque para mi es un poco chirriante). Desde hace siglos, músicos y cantantes conservan la historia y la identidad de su pueblo a través de los cuentos cantados de familias y clanes. Hay que tener en cuenta que la tradición escrita no es muy antigua, por lo que esas canciones resultaban fundamentales.

Waited almost 45 mins for some eggs and because it's a small place, it shouldn't have been that long. Waitress never came back after serving our drinks to see how we were or for refills. We ended up asking the bus lady, super sweet, about our food and she brought it out. She was great and attentive with everyone sitting outside. Left her a nice tip!

Pizza by the slice for vegans or vegetarians has the most amazing crust: fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside. There were a number of menu items that I would love to try on our next road trip through Memphis. The quality of the food was wonderful (I could taste the red, ripe tomatoes). Don't look for the double burger- it hasn't been on the menu for a while. But you will have plenty of other tempting options.

Bouffe crade qui a donné une intoxication alimentaire à ma cousine à cause de la viande pourrie. Personnel très antipathique et impatient. Les cuisiniers ne mettent pas de gants. Manque de propreté ! Pfff
