On first inspection it seems like a really swanky place so I felt a little like a country bumpkin. But they were really relaxed here. I asked to be seated on the patio (I love the decor). Jean F., my waiter, brought my menu over and apologized that the didn't have an English menu only French and Italian. He did an excellent job, in English, explains the menu to me. Jean told me he speaks three languages and is learning a fourth. Since the restaurant was not busy yet we chatted about California and Alaska. My appetizer was a bruschetta and it was soooo good. I also ordered for my main the salmon plate. When it came out there was also a white fish on it. I asked Jean what it was and he wasn't sure of the English translation so he went and looked it up on the computer and came back and told me it was Burbot. The food was really good but Jean's Service is what elevated this experience to 5 stars. My Mojito rocked as well. My appetizer, salmon pasta plate and Mojito cost about 34CAN.

The food was everything I had hoped for. I kind of wish the glutton in me didn 't order the extra melted cheese on my pasta... The meal was reasonably priced. We were so full when we left. We came the next night for apple crumble as a midnight snack. Great place!

The tartare was ok (2 of us had different tartares and it was neither excellent nor awful, just ok)

The ambience makes for interesting conversation and there is creative use of space. I like that the owner supports a charity in Thailand and...the photo board of those cute children leaves you with a warm fuzzy feeling. Definately worth going back to.

La grand mere est sur le plancher pour prendre des commandes, donner les additions et recevoir les clients au comptoir pour payer. Nous étions un groupe de 6. Table en plein milieu du restaurant. Bon choix de plats et aussi sur la table d hôte.

We had an early dinner in the restaurant and sat inside. the banquet on which we sat was dirty/senkt and the floors were also really dirty. the dish of the supp... lire la suite We had an early dinner in the restaurant and sat inside. the banquet on which we sat was dirty/senkt and the floors were also really dirty. the dish of the suppe we ordered was very dirty, the fries greased as if they were cooked in old oil and. they were either cold or chewy, while the vegetables in the broth were mostly uncooked. the server was beautiful and delivered a good service (although we were one of the only 2 tables in the inner.) by the look of the dinge seems this place as if it were more for people who are for drinks/partying.
