"I was born in the Netherlands and grew up eating many things that one can only find in Holland or in a Dutch store such as this one. The Dutch eat a lot of unique things on their bread--including some of the world's finest cheeses--and this store carries them all. Their special holiday treats bring back many wonderful memories, to both my mind and my mouth! The products are not inexpensive, because they are all imported and not in large quantities. But there are things you will find here that you won't find anywhere else. If you're Dutch, you need to visit this place. If you're not Dutch, you'll wish you were."

"Food looks prettier than it tastes. Place is too cold most of the time, so food gets cold fast. They don't cook eggs very well, uncooked whites often. Need to offer more meals without all the pretty fruit, not everyone can have it, or want it."

"Four of us went here for dinner recently and none of us were impressed with our dinner. First they didn't have our reservations but a group of four did not show up so lucky us we were able to get the table. Two of us ordered pasta, one chicken and the other person ordered the brisket. For appetizers we ordered Ceasar salad and meatballs. The salad was good however the meatballs lacked flavour. The brisket was very bland, the chicken was OK and the pasta was very blah. We noticed someone returning their pasta dish but did not hear why so. The highlight was the creme brûlée - very yummy and kudos for donating $1 to the Bruyere Centre.Also, just a quick mention that something in my food that evening evidently didn't agree with me since I literally had to run to the bathroom once I got home.I do wish to mention the service - it was amazing; thank you to Rhiannon for her attentive service and her lovely smile. Will we go back? Probably not except for maybe dessert. It's unfortunate since we like to support local and Orleans definitely lacks in the higher scale restaurant but it certainly was NOT worth the $100 tab."
