Moxie's Grill Bar Barrie

This is the best Moxie's restaurant I have visited so far.

I have been a loyal supporter of Moxies for over a decade. Recently, I visited the Barrie location on a Friday night to take advantage of their after 9 pm special.

We recently discovered this place and it has quickly become our favorite. The amber beer they brew in-house is fantastic and their entire menu is excellent.

Really attentive staff

Read the reviews, noted the negatives, was buoyed by the positive ones. Decided to book through OpenTable and give it a try. We were minutes early, seated immediately. Service was prompt, had our beverage order in front of us and food ordered within minutes. Food was delivered in a reasonable time frame, hot and quite good. Had another beverage with dinner, our waitress was attentive but not overbearing. She seemed to know when to check in, and when to leave us alone.Simply nodded to get the check, delivered in about minutes. Paid. Finished. One hour, but not rushed.Noise level is high, my only complaint, possibly due to their chosen decor; a lot of hard surfaces for sound to bounce around and off of...Will gladly do it again
