They told me they have recently added eggs to all their recipes, but I suspect they added it all along and only now are coming clean. A few years ago there were rumours about eggs in their ice creams, so I don 't actually believe they decided to add it only now.

Unfortunately when we visited Santini the lady who was taking payment told us all the fruit ice cream contained eggs so nothing there was vegan. Thankfully we came across Fabio Lupi around the corner which was fabulous and even had vegan cones.
