Gil's is a small restaurant with a wide range of options. Many argue that their broasted chicken is the best in the Kalamazoo area, especially during lunchtime. It's definitely worth the trip to Comstock. In addition to the chicken, they also offer ribs, grilled cheese, pizza, and on Fridays from May to October, steaks, burgers, brats, and hot dogs cooked on the grill. They have a good selection of quality meats, although their produce options are more limited. Additionally, they sell wine and craft beer at competitive prices. And don't forget to try their excellent banana bread!
