I wanted to escape the noisy food court, so I decided to give Ricky's in the mall a try. The restaurant was busy, but I waited a long time to be seated. The table was sticky, and the server promised to come back and clean it, but never did. I waited for a while as other customers were served. When my food still hadn't arrived and others had already been served, I became frustrated. The server seemed to have forgotten about me completely. I eventually spoke up, but my original server never returned. The server I spoke to claimed it wasn't her fault. I was so disappointed with the service that I decided to leave. Overall, it was the worst service I've ever experienced.
Not quite there. The restaurant looks beautiful and clean with new staff, but they were clearly not well-trained. I had to request coffee and waited even longer for it to arrive. However, service improved afterwards. The food was good, so perhaps give it another shot.
My wife and I visited this restaurant for breakfast. After hearing about Ricky's for over three years, we finally decided to give it a try. I ordered a ham and cheese omelet with toast and hash browns, while my wife opted for eggs with toast, bacon, and hash browns. Both meals came with coffee and were delicious, all for under $30. The food arrived quickly and hot, making for a pleasant experience away from the noisy food court nearby. It was the perfect spot to escape to on a rainy summer morning.
First time to ricky's and have just passed the lunch crowd. Servers are friendly and helped me through the extensive menu. Place really cozy and could accommodate me as i was alone. Nice comfort food almost diner like feel. Will come again next i visit...vancouver.
