While exploring Galiano, we stumbled upon this charming roadside food stand and decided to stop due to the long line. It was definitely worth the wait! All of the menu items are made with fresh, local ingredients. We tried the bison burger and potato wedges, and everything was delicious and not overly greasy. The wedges were roasted instead of fried, just like homemade. The atmosphere is rustic, in line with the island's laid-back vibe. They are only open from Wednesday to Friday, so make sure to visit for lunch while you can!
During our island scooter tour, we stumbled upon this delightful lunch spot. The food is cooked in what appears to be a food truck, but the seating is surprisingly comfortable with tents providing shade from the sun. The charming atmosphere with tables and chairs added to the experience. The food was delicious and the photos speak for themselves. We would definitely come back again.
The food at this quaint little road side stand is always consistently amazing. I have never has a bad meal here. Their veggie burgers are the best. I’m an islander and eat here often.
Rain or shine, for a real Gulf Island experience, it's worth it to line up for lunch at the Dog on Galiano Island. Open only 4 afternoons a week, between March and November, the food is always great, and the company enthusiastic. Share a table and get the news.
