Crown Fried Chicken - New Haven

Besttt fried chicken, chicken tenders, popcorn chicken, etc. within a 15-20mile radius. Hands down. They also have an awesome apple pie that's crispy and I think even better when it's cold.

It was surprisingly good. I was visiting from Oregon and was in the mood for some chicken and this was relatively close to the hotel so I figured I would give it a try. I was a little worried at first because there was the pretty good size group of sketchy people hanging outside being a little bit Rowdy on the day I was there. However, I am glad I went in anyway. It was very clean inside. It was lunchtime and there were three people in line ahead of me but the staff was very friendly and moves a line very quickly. I had my order to go pretty fast and I thought it was good chicken. It is very greasy but that's what makes fried chicken delicious LOL. I would recommend it if you're in the neighborhood.
