But the second time I went I ordered a non alcoholic drink and what I received was a drink with alcohol in it, very strange. There is also a $20 minimum for each person at every table even after paying $40 for a ticket to get in. Music was great, I was so happy to see Phony Ppl live in concert and this was I think the perfect place to see them! They were chill after the show and I got to take a picture with Elbee Thrie and I got all their signatures on my program! They were all fantastic but the service there is interesting. There were two girls with us at the table that stent charged but we’re told about the $20 minimum. I understand the concept because I’ve sang at places like Don’t Tell Mama but I wish they would be consistent because I didn’t want to spend $40 more dollars after spending almost $100 for the tickets. But yeah the vibes are great and I had a good time despite all the money I spent.
Good music and nice ambience but the chairs from the bar are super uncomfortable and wobbly.
The Robert Glasper and Black Thought show was phenomenal!!! The service and drinks were great!
Despite the close quarters I give the Blue Note 5 stars because it nails the two most important things, the performers and the sound system. After all, those are the reasons you go. If you want a good seat get there early. We went to an 8 pm show. The doors opened at 6 and there was a line. Besides the tickets, there is a 20 per person minimum. There is a full menu for dinner. The cocktails are very good. The ribs were delicious. If you don’t want to have dinner or wait two hours, go to the 10:30 show. Doors open at 10. We saw Harold Lopez-Nussa on a sold out Monday night- check him out, he and his group is amazing!!
Went to see Robert Glasper and Norah Jones. The Blue Note doesn't disappoint!
