Porchetta Di Ariccia

I came here attracted by the name and the excellent reviews. Reviews that unfortunately I have to categorically deny: the real porchetta of Ariccia is something else entirely, what I ate here was nothing special. Another disappointing aspect was the bread, all burnt: therefore not bad tasting, but also unhealthy. Asking me €7 for all this therefore seemed a bit much to me, even without a receipt.

Excellent bar/restaurant very close to the Valmontone motorway toll booth, province of Rome. Very nice location, 70s style, large counter with porchetta clearly visible. Obviously the strong point of this place is the porchetta, truly delicious and above all at honest prices. Great for a quick lunch break. Modest place in furnishings. Small porchetta sandwiches, single layer and cold. 15 euros two sandwiches, water and coke. Receipt forgotten. Service: Dine in Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Every time we return to Calabria from Milan and vice versa it is a fixed stop for us! Excellent porchetta at a fair price! A few meters from the motorway exit and close to an Eni petrol station at much cheaper prices than on the motorway. In short, an obligatory stop for long-haul travellers.
