"What a gem of not only a restaurant but of location, on the road through the vizzavona region you turn on a bend of the road and there it is, our weather was perfect so that after sampling some of the regional produce for lunch we walked around the restaurant and up into the hills for the most beautiful views of the mountains in the distance, we could have been in Austria or Switzerland looking up to the "fringes" of trees up the mountains which stopped at 4,500 feet and then carried on into the craggy peaks."

"Wir haben im Casa Alta (= Empfehlung) in Vizzavona übernachtet und dort wurde uns für das Abendessen das Monte d'oro empfohlen.Es ist vmtl. das beste Restaurant in Vizzavona (ca. 2,5 km ab Bahnhof Vizzavona). Gemütlicher Speisesaal; schöne Speisekarte (vorwiegend Fleisch); schöne WeinkarteEssen und Service war tadellos und wir würden jederzeit wieder dort hingehen."

"très beau toilette, j’ai pu faire les affaires dedans, et croquer dans la saucisse accrocher au murpour ma part j’habite à strasbourg et je n’avais jamais vu autant de saucisse très corse, très sauciflare, on s’y sens bien malheureusement a cause du coffee courtounez, j’ai du déféquer dans vos toilettes… sorry sinon bonne ambiance MAIS LE VERRE POUR UNE ODEUR DE GROSSE SAUCISSE"
