Thanks to Mellisa, Ryan, Lauren and Aubrey for a fantastic evening for an amazing meal. That was just at my end: A seat was available and I asked Ryan to feed us. He agreed. That was all. It was amazingly fit...at the price Bordeaux Ryan accepted for corkage: A 2007 Chateau La Petie Fleur Peter. Yes, the sister boss to what I hope to drink one day. Start with Charcuterie, chalk and cheese. Go on to a Pemberton Heirloom Beet Salat and on the Fraser Valley chest of the duck. After a respectful break, Tiramisu and cream brulee. Wow.
What can I say? Wow! I had Ryan and his team for my wedding in Whistler and we had a buffet! And we all care about buffets, but NO ONE including us had any complaints! The food was amazing! We had starters first including...seared tuna amazing! From feta quinoa, beef brisket in an amazing Bourbon BBQ sauce or salmon with a delicious fresh salsa!! Deserts were fresh cakes and chocolate cakes and wow!!! Seriously, I would never think twice about having The Venue for any event!! Delicious food everywhere!
We held a team dinner at The Venue last night for young people and their trainers. What a fantastic experience! The dining room had a breathtaking view and was cozy and comfortable. The food was fresh, healthy and beautiful. The servings were generous and... the menu was well thought out. The attention to detail was excellent and created a great atmosphere. Thanks Ryan and team for your warmth and hospitality, it created wonderful memories!
Ryan and Melissa and superb staff put on a delicious, outstanding meal for 40 guests in Canada for our son's wedding. The food was excellent, with different people delighted for many different reasons. Hosted bar, appetizers, champagne toast, beautifully set tables, overall lovely ambiance...relying on...the expertise of Chef's Ryan and Melissa we chose the Thanksgiving buffet as the base....with variations. Roasted veggies and ham and turkey were fantastic! Butternut squash soup was out of this world! Local wines paired well with the food. Desserts were wonderful, individual creme brulee and chocolate mousse were divine. Our hosts were especially accommodating and gracious. We wholeheartedly recommend The Venue for exceptional food, wonderful ambiance and a memorable experience.
