Lire plus Carisolos is a family owned restaurant with a warm and homey atmosphere where the food is delicious, authentic and tastes home cooked and modestly priced. Our waitress was friendly and accommodating but not overbearing. I love that she knew the answers to my questions about the spices and ingredients in my menu item before I ordered. My grilled shrimp salad was wonderful and had a generous amount of perfectly seasoned shrimp. My three friends enjoyed different taco salads that were served in a hand made crispy tortilla shaped like a big taco shell. We couldn?t resist the fried ice cream and I they were a delicious treat. We will be going back!

I came to St. Louis this weekend and thought I would see if they had any and Google led me to Carl?s. It was definitely worth the trip! Big pastrami on rye and I always love Matzo ball soup. My husband had a reub. The sandwiches were huge and the prices were reasonable. Thank you for fulfilling my wish for real deli food!!

The steak was cooked and seasoned well, and the potatoes were so good. The mimosas were great, but I think I'd skip the lemonade cocktail the next time. Friendly service and a beautiful atmosphere.

I CANNOT BELIEVE THE FOOD THEY SOLD ME TODAY. My fish was in 4 fish nuggets, a nasty grey color and I couldn 't chew through them. I was so disturbed by this fish I actually called up there to see if this is what captain ds is selling now. The lady on the phone said they sold me backup fish because they were out of the genuine captain ds fish. Captain ds took my money and sent me away without genuine captain ds fish! I told her under no circumstance should they sell this fish to anybody. I want whoever that 's in charge of that place to visit this location and try and chew through the type of fish they sold me today. They definitely got me for my money because I 'm not driving back up there to exchange it like she said i could. I already went out my way to pass up the one in st.ann just to be sold inedible fish from this location.

Most of it was great but a few items were dry. Unfortunately I ordered an omelet, then stepped out of the way for others to get by. After a few minutes my omelet had been forgotten and the next ones after me were being worked on. Instead of making a big deal I just tried the scrambled eggs. Nothing major just difficult when the price had increased. We did appreciate the cost per child decrease as ours maybe ate only two things ; .

Nous avons alors commandé 2 entrées différentes. Après une demi-heure, les 2 entrées et les 2 plats principaux ont été servis simultanément! Cela a gâché toute l'expérience. J'ai fini par avoir mon plat principal en premier suivi de l'entrée, tandis que ma femme a en fait eu son entrée en premier.
