My husband had the duck breast cooked to exactly how he ordered it with some lovely creamy sliced potatoes, I had a well presented and tasty salmon salad with grapefruit slices. Washed down with a lovely Cote de Provence Rosé. Perfect.

Attention ne laissez pas de nourriture dans l'assiette, prenez ce que vous voulez MAIS mangez tout sinon vous devrez payer une amende !!!!!! La décoration est rustique et se prête à une ambiance chaleureuse. Le personnel est accueillant et serviable. Je recommande pleinement ce restaurant.

This is the second time that I have experienced a restaurant attached to one of France’s “grand restaurant”; to my mind, the culinary equivalent of a second win... lire la suite This is the second time that I have experienced a restaurant attached to one of France’s “grand restaurant”; to my mind, the culinary equivalent of a second wine from one of the top “Chateaux” in Bordeaux. The dining room of l’Espace is light and...modern, with a pleasant outlook onto a pretty garden through the floor-to-ceiling glass windows. The food was delicious. I had snails to start, slow roasted veal to follow and an ile flottante for pudding. All the dishes were well balanced, beautifully presented and just the right size. I thought it was good value, given the great quality. If you need to go for lunch near Vienne and want a very good lunch without going for the “full on” multi-starred Michelin experience, then l’Espace is the place to go.

The service is very kind but also very slow and not organized at all. Not recommended.

La nourriture servie ici, bien que bonne, est probablement plus moderne européenne/fusion à mon humble avis. Le propriétaire connaissait très bien les vins et a fait un bon appel. Le dîner était agréable et sans hâte mais c'était en milieu de semaine, donc je ne peux pas dire comment l'endroit fonctionnerait s'il était plein. (Je leur donnerais une note plus élevée s'il s'agissait de français classique, car l'attention et la finesse de la nourriture n'étaient pas en cause). Venez certainement ici si vous avez envie d'autre chose que les offres typiques du bistrot.
