It was, hard to cut and overcooked. Ordered medium and got over well done. The mash potatoes was cold and the salad tasted from the grocery store. Please go somewhere if you are looking for a great steak.

It is unprofessional and unhygienic for the waiter to eat on the floor near to the POS when it is open to the public. Additionally, the server was unable to describe the tenderness of the octopus, which may indicate that he was unfamiliar with the menu.Additionally, the papas bravas were cooked incorrectly, had a cold center, and were twice returned due to their temperature and cracked dish. This is a blatant sign that the food was improperly prepared because, if it had been made beforehand, it should have been reheated to an internal temperature of 165 degrees. Additionally, every meal was presented on a plate, bowl, or board with chipped rims, which speaks ill of the restaurant's attention to detail, hygiene, and cleanliness.The Marsala pasta lacked the anticipated Marsala wine flavor, which could have been replaced with Madeira wine, but it also did not include a significant amount of it. The patatas that were returned twice were also not deducted from the bill. Unfortunately, no management ever stopped by to hear about the issues we had while we were eating.The waiter seemed hapless and uninformed about the menu during the entire encounter. The difficulties encountered during the meal may have been a result of this ignorance. We frequently tip 50% or more, but because to these problems, we only tipped 20%. El Fogon's failure to live up to our expectations was disappointing, especially as we were eager to test a locally owned, independently operated restaurant.As a result, it appears that El Fogon has room for growth in terms of service, cleanliness, food quality, and management based on our experience.
