Contribuer aux commentairesWe had a table reserved for late on a weekday (22:00 clock). arrived and put by a friendly waiter on a table outside, who accepted the first drinks orders and the tagsmap explained what the dishes were and what was not available. the food was delicious, with a large selection of various flavors. especially delicious was the homemade fruity-sharp sauce. many of the main dishes were no longer available at our arrival, and we found that the appetizers were going to be a neige when we departed (shortly before charging). this, however, is not surprising in view of our late arrival and the dishes we got (Curry-Ziegen- und Fisch-Eintopf/Curry; Jerk cellar appetizer; boil bananas; suppe) were all interesting and tasty. the time between the dressed was a bit too long for our taste. I found the price of some dishes a little higher than I expected. all in all, however, a beautiful evening with friendly service and it is worth trying out also some new types of kitchen.
I have reserved a table for 20 clock, the place was quite full, including some big parties. we finally sat after we were asked by 3 different employees whether we had booked. our waitress was friendly enough, but I would suggest that she doesn't work long here or she is particularly experienced. we ordered 2 starters; jerk chicken and an salat as main dish; jerk tofu, fried chicken and jamaican beef stew. about half an hour later a waiter came to see if we had ordered and if so what our order was. he came back to tell my wife that there was no more bark, but ochsentail. she accepted the replacement. the appetizers came 45 minutes after the order and I was given a Jerk cellar and I was told that I could wait 20 minutes for that? I ordered or did this, I decided to take what was given to me as I was concerned about malnutrition. the main dishes finally came and we got a bottle of homemade fiery chilisauce from which we could get a few drops out. we got a second bottle that had even less and then a third one that we emptied quite quickly from half dozen drops. Unfortunately, there was no longer this good soße, as it had gone out! how they managed to have no homemade sauce on a Saturday night early is a riddle, but .we decided not to wait for a dessert, because we wanted to be ready with the food before midnight. that was generally good? , the ochsen tail was delicious, the tofu was good, the jerk was zahm and the fried chicken was in order, but the mac’ncheese was excellent and wore the chicken. the service was something that basil fawlty would have been proud of, but the staff was very friendly, happy and the black waiter was particularly charming. we got a few small shot drinks, as a kind of excuse, but I must say we had an all-round pleasant evening and laughed with the youngs from the neighboring table etc. we will definitely come back as the evening has made a lot of fun and the hotel can recommend, but don't go if they are in a hurry or have no sense for humor.
Tasty eating, cheerful operation and pleasant atmosphere (even if the sittings were a bit shaky outside)....no wonder that pinkcaleta is always busy.
Great food and great staff! also loved the drinks that reminded me of my time in Jamaica. love it! almost a jewel in kreuzberg. well done.
Good food, good people, great team, multi-kulti so is berlin! -more so...the two chefs in kitchen and service pull all register
