Gosch Sylt - Cologne

I ordered the bratnudeln thinking it was the normal penne pasta but out came what I thought tasted more like the thainudeln. It had the typical hot-sweet sauce all over it with water chestnuts and bamboo shoots. I think it's safe to say that would...lead anyone to believe it was the thainudeln. Anyway, I asked about it and they just shrugged it off and said, oh yeah that's the bratnudeln. Super weird. How can the other one that I wanted (penne with tomato sauce) be labeled as thai I ended up eating the fish out of it. What a waste of money.

After a long trip at the Cologne Railway Station it was a pleasure to find this fish restaurant. Salmon and Salad with a glass of riesling. A visit in Cologne couldn't get better start. And enough place for suitcase!

Tried the smoked Matjes sandwich, mouth watering, great! Always a good choice for fresh fisch in any presentation!

My friend and I stopped here on our way back to the airport. The lady behind the counter dissuaded my friend from the sauce she wanted with her penne, but agreed with even recommended my choice of tagliatelle and pesto. When my food...finally arrived, I thought it was a joke and a bad one at that. Not only was the salad I was told it would come with simply of a tomato and ONE lettuce leaf but the portion of tagliatelle was so small, that I could see the plate through the pasta. I went up to complain but was told simply that is the portion size despite seeing her eyebrows raise in surprise at just how little food was on my plate. It was finished within forkfuls. I had to go and find food elsewhere, which is totally ridiculous. I absolutely do not recommend this place.

Ordered Thai Noodles from the menu, just to discover it was Italian Pennette. They said it's noodles because the cooking is the same. Speechless.
