Boronia Thai Restaurant - Knox

We came here for a quick meal one weekend and ordered pad see ew, a spicy basil stir fry and a seafood salad.  The thai dumplings, pad see ew and basil stir fry came out after a short wait, but we had nearly finished our meals and the salad had still not arrived.  When we enquired about it, it came out a few minutes later (I think the chef may have forgotten). But to our surprise, the salad came out with deep fried seafood instead of lightly fried as described on the menu. When we pointed this out, the staff were so apologetic that we felt terrible about it. It was clearly a misunderstanding with the wording of the menu but I have never experienced such good customer service, where they asked if I wanted the meal exchanged or just taken off the bill and even gave us a 10% discount voucher for the inconvenience. The dishes that we did get to try were absolutely delicious. The thai dumplings were light and flavourful, the pad see ew had just the right smokey flavour and the stir fry, though very spicy, was incredibly tasty.It's rare for a restaurant to handle a tricky situation like this so well but they have guaranteed that we will be back again in the future.

Food is authentic taste, the best i ve ever had, specially, green curry and the fish phuket were so delicious , with great service from friendly staff, would recommended one of the best Thai restaurants

We dined at this restaurant on Saturday night and it was extremely busy, with not a single empty table in sight. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the menu offered a great selection to choose from. The food was delicious and we will definitely be returning. Plus, it is also BYO, so all in all, it was a great dining experience that hit all the right marks.

Absolutely WONDERFUL best thai restaurant in Boronia! best place to come for a dine in!! Love the Curries just marvellous taste definitely would suggest to come in with friends and family to have great food

I have been a regular at Boronia Thai since it opened, visiting almost every week. The food is fantastic, and in my opinion, the best Thai cuisine I have ever tasted. I especially love the coconut rice. The staff is always friendly and attentive, always managing to find a table for me even when they are fully booked. I highly recommend this restaurant.
