Kels On The Lake - Loch Sheldrake

I visited Kels in January with some friends. I was impressed by the restaurant's appearance, but we were disappointed with the service. We had to find our own table for six, and there were no waitstaff to take our orders. We had to order at the bar and pay for our meals there. Unfortunately, the credit card machine was not working, so we had to walk to an ATM down the street. The food came out in a disorganized manner, with some of us finishing our meals before others even received theirs. The wings were overcooked, and the quesadilla was subpar. Empty bottles and dishes were left on our table for the entire meal, as no one came to clear them. Overall, we were not satisfied with our experience and would not return to Kels.

I am a fantastic restaurant situated right by the lake, offering good food and music. With a charming atmosphere and beautiful views, I also have a cool dart board for entertainment.

I am delighted that this restaurant has reopened with new owners! It is conveniently located just a few minutes away, and we have already visited twice for drinks. We tried the shrimp Caesar salad and the Philly cheese steak, both of which were delicious. The menu is straightforward but satisfying. The service has been excellent. My only suggestion would be to improve the decor and ambiance to give it more of a local feel.
