Adelaide Zoo - Mount Barker

The zoo was fantastic. We have visited many zoos before, and in comparison, this one has a lot of space for the animals. The abundance of trees and plants really gives the impression that they are in a jungle or forest. Our favorite part was visiting the pandas and giraffes, especially the high door to enter their enclosure.

This restaurant is a fantastic place to spend the day. I really appreciate how easy it is to get around, especially with the Zooabru buggy for little ones. It's definitely worth checking out all the daily events and the knowledgeable guide who explains all the animals.

What an amazing experience! The staff was incredibly friendly. My partner and I had three unforgettable experiences: feeding giraffes, feeding lions, and feeding the adorable penguins. All of the employees were kind, knowledgeable, and eager to answer any questions we had about the animals. Their passion for the animals was evident. Maggie was a delight - we spent most of our day with her and it felt like having a private guide. It was truly one of the best days I've ever had. I highly recommend spending a day at the zoo - and if you get an annual membership, you'll receive discounts on various things, which was fantastic! 10/10 would recommend.

the adelaide zoo was not only a fantastic zoo for the short moment we were here, but the personal here is super helpful. special mention goes to paulus (safety monitor) who went beyond and beyond to help with our sick daughter who became uncomfortable due to dehydration. russell (first help officer) was also super helpful in providing a first aid treatment to help her get better. please forward this feedback to management. we just need to see a little zoo, but we will definitely return and recommend it to everyone. at least we have to see the huge pandas that is exclusive for this zoo. Very clean and lovely scenery. Not as much to see as some other zoos I've been to, but still a great day. Especially If you have got little kiddies as everything is exciting The playground Is actually really good. Lots of tables and chairs and pricing was pretty standard for a public place.
