Contribuer aux commentairesDuring our visit to Isabela last week, it was a pleasant surprise to find that this fast food restaurant was open on Good Friday. In a Catholic country, where most places shut down to observe the holiday, it was a relief to have this option available. We waited over an hour for our relatives to join us at the restaurant, and I discovered that the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. They shared valuable information about where to stay, activities to do, and mass schedules in the area. It felt like we were chatting with old friends, and it was clear that they truly cared about making our experience enjoyable. It's a shame that they are only temporary workers, as they are a real asset to the Jollibee franchise.
While visiting our family in Isabela over Holy Week, we were pleased to discover that this fast food restaurant was open on Good Friday. For those unfamiliar with the customs of the predominantly Catholic country, it is common for businesses to shut down on this day. The traffic in Metro Manila virtually disappears as people head to their provinces or take a vacation away from the city. We patiently waited over an hour for our family to arrive at the restaurant, where we were warmly greeted by the staff. They were eager to help us with suggestions for accommodations, places to visit, and the schedule of masses. It felt like we were talking to friends or even family members, as they offered us helpful advice. These employees are truly an asset to Jollibee, even though they are only temporary workers.
