Enjoyed our meal at the quaint restaurant. The 5 of us tried different things and everything was delicious! We also liked the calamari and bruchetta we got as appetizers!
Not wheelchair friendly. I went in this week with a friend in a wheelchair. She waited at the counter for a few minutes and even though there were two employees behind the counter no when approached her. I called them over and ask them to help her. The young woman looked at me and asked me what my friend wanted and I told her to ask my friend. My friend then responded with what she wanted and the employee looked at me and said well how much would she like and again I redirected her to ask my friend who has no problems communicating. she then asked me if my friend wanted it in a bag and again I told her to ask my friend. It was as though she was very uncomfortable speaking to a person in a wheelchair. it was a great location and a cute store but i didn't buy anything after how my friend was treated. they also don't know if they validate parking
Beautiful evening out on rear deck under haters. Wait staff was pleasant and on top of things. Only one very minor issue…my side dish didn’t arrive with the entree, but quickly thereafter. This is a charming place in a charming* location. Pricey, yes, but where, other than In n Out isnt anymore? Food quality was excellent and desserts were as well. Truly enjoyable.
Facts: Carpaccio Di Manzo – “where’s the meat?!” This is more of a Arugula salad with a topping of Carpaccio. Cioppino – I’ve lived in the Bay Area for over 20 years, and this is the worst Cioppino I have ever had. Lack of seasoning, flavor and it was not fresh, it was sitting under a heat lamp and came out luke-warm. The broth is not broth, it’s a can of tomato puree. You should be ashamed of yourselves, have your cooks go to North Beach, Castro or Soma and let them order and taste Cioppino. What comes out of a Jar at Safeway is better. Gelato w/Baked Pear – I have had this in other establishments, and its warm to hot! A final mediocre dish. (I’m sure the Manager or Owner will apologize, that does not cut-it, how about working with your line cooks and training them? How about offering to credit me my dinner.
