On the third attempt, after we had chosen our meals from the menu, the waitress with a condescending attitude informed us that what we had chosen was no longer available. It would have been useful to know this upfront! After placing our orders, we had to wait approximately 40 minutes for the food. I suggested to my girlfriend during this period that we should leave but she really wanted to try the food. I had the avo on toast, which was literally some avo on one piece of very tough toast. I was hungry but couldnt finish the toast. My girlfriend had the fish tacos but could only eat one as they tasted terrible and gluey. They are three banana flowers in batter on shop bought corn tortillas. Very overpriced for what it was. We wont be going back. Updated from previous review on 2022-04-07

The area in general is usually hot and humid. However, the trails are covered in shades and the ocean breeze makes it really nice. One time use plastic or alcoholic beverages are not allowed to enter the premises, they have a checking point at the entrance. And the cost to enter is a voluntary donation.

Conseillée par l'office du tourisme nous avons tenté le restaurant le Cantalou malheureusement il fallait réserver, difficile lorsque l'on est de passage (peut être l'effet poussette). Il restait pourtant de nombreuses tables libres. Nous nous sommes donc rabattu sur le Viking Pub qui affichait des burgers au cantal et au bleu. Après 15 minutes d'attente nous avons été placé tout près d'une autre table la poussette de notre bébé coincée entre 2 tables (pas de proposition de chaise haute). Le restaurant était bondé et bruyant (il faut dire qu'un concours de pétanque se déroulait l'après-midi sur la place à proximité). . Nous avons choisi les burgers au cantal. Déception en voyant les assiettes arrivées, burger de petite taille. Nous avions demandé le type de viande : salers ou aubrac. Résultat un steak "classique" et au-dessus un plus petit de meilleure qualité, sauce goût cantal sans intérêt. Frites congelés sans saveur. Le dessert cornet très moyen, chantilly sans goût et cornet mou. Le restaurant bénéficie d'une vue panoramique le personnel est agréable mais il ne faut pas s'attendre à une découverte des spécialités de la région.
