There is a good choice on the menu and being a Fuller’s pub all you’d expect from the drinks selection too. It’s pet friendly also. A variety of seating- stools, high chairs, wingback armchairs and patio too. It can get very busy so aim to arrive early for the best seating arrangements. The food is locally sourced and is of a high quality. I’ve been here from Southampton and it’s a popular choice for me.

Lire plus We have been here for many years and this last time not disappointed. crayfish sandwich, gammon sandwich, 4 softdrinks and 1 piece of cake was just over £32. it sounds a little expensive, but if they are in a beautiful environment, eating good eating is served by courtesy and friendly staff, then it's certainly not important to me! service is included in the bill, so if they are like me and not always check the bill, then take it the note! there is a huge selection of big cakes (homemade I would introduce myself) and they do a great afternoon tea. worth visiting when they are in the opposite.

We have been going to the DD for many years and it’s always fab! This visit was for our eldest’s 13th birthday. Stopped off after airhop. Requested an Oreo chocolate cake a few weeks earlier and it didn’t disappoint, it was just so pretty and moist and yummy!! So glad we got to bring some home. Nothing was too much trouble, it can be chaos with a large group but it all went so smoothly. The staff were just wonderful adding candles and checking everything was good. The outside space was super pretty and just finished off a lovely day great memories thanks to Christy and the team x

Lire plus This is an excellent cafe overall and has long been a favourite of mine. Unfortunately they’ve struggling lately with staffing. I’ve arrived to find it closed, or most recently to be told we couldn’t be seated (despite lots of free tables) nor to even get takeaway. The cakes are great, the old staff I used to know of were great, and I want to support them. Sadly I can’t rely on it actually accepting us to go there at the moment. So 4 stars as a result.

Lire plus Beautiful new place. simple and honest little dishes and nibbles. very good cocktails. in a group of 4 and divided feeds. the cocktails were nice. we had the chicken bites, fries, brot oliven mac and cheese and riceball. some dishes were surprisingly delicate (fries) and others good for the exchange of chicken bites, brot and oliven, Mac cheese). everything in all it is good to try, after that it is more about the ambiente. that would be a prefect to meet friends when I live here, but I don't. the decor was very nice (massive attention to details), good effort for the food (good taste and satisfying) service was pleasant, but could have been faster and more attentive, but overall good. thanks young for taking us and our laptops.

Actually, I couldn't be thrilled to see this place anymore. it is one of the highest rated restaurants in the environment and with good ground. eating is honest... Lire plus Actually, I couldn't be thrilled to see this place anymore. it is one of the highest rated restaurants in the environment and with good ground. eating is honest, clean, home-style food that nourishes and lets them feel good long after they leave. the restaurant is more a cafe style with tablets that fill them with a series of joys. there are vegan options that worked perfectly for me. I will probably visit when I am in this neighbourhood. absolutely fantastic!

The broccoli and veggies were so flavourful, the daal was delicious. The bread roll was surprisingly good too. I love Indian food but hardly go out to eat it, since the spice can be overwhelming. This wasn’t spicy at all, but soooo FLAVOURFUL. I’m happy I tried the food out, the quiet canteen like seating area just felt a little awkward. It was busy though, so that’s always a good sign of good food there are also hand washing facilities downstairs by the toilet. Nice and polite staff.
