Lire plus I wanted to try Clementine for some time, and I finally went to lunch in the week. It is sweet, casual, clean and cozy. You also have a small walkway terrace that I prefer to give, how loud and cozy it was inside. Parking is limited with only a small lot and some metered street spots, but the fresh food makes it almost worth the effort. Clementine offers a selection of modern American breakfast (although only limited hours), lunch and bakery in addition to finished food. What impressed me was how incredibly fresh the whole food looked. The prices are somewhat steep, but for the quality of the ingredients it can be worth the few extra dollars.

The service was initially attentive but tapered off and it took a long time to get a second glass of wine. The food is interesting, inventive and tasty. I would return but perhaps with a larger group so as to snag a booth and thus avoid inevitably overhearing the conversations of people crowded next to us at small two-tops.
