I doubled the topping, planning on using the leftover sauce for foofie coffee drinks.
Yum-alicious! Sometimes I poke hokes in the finished cake and drizzle some of the sauce over the whole cake (also pour some sauce over each serving).
A lovely unusual treat! Having tasted it in Britain, and loving it, I was thrilled to find and make this recipe, and have made it several times now.
