"I asked if there were any gluten-free options on the menu, taking into account cross-contamination. Waitress asked if I had Celiac, went through my options. Very limited, but I was okay. That day there were 4 of us. The waitress brought the first round, said it was specific to me without cross-contamination. She told us all when they touch her food and dig into mine, it won't be safe for me to eat. My experience was wonderful."

"Big fan of this place! Amazing gluten free baked goods and they carry St Annes bread. The couple that runs the place are super friendly and everything is baked fresh. Very surprised by how good the vegan blueberry scones were as well, cant get enough of them."

"This was a unique restaurant in Owen Sound and a great place for lunch downtown. Unfortunately it has permanently closed at the end of December 2015. After more than a quarter of a century serving up fresh dishes using locally sourced ingredients, MarketSide in downtown Owen Sound will close its doors. But for owners Paul Thomas and Karin van der Heyden, it is not the end of doing what they have grown to love doing over the years, it is simply time for a change. The downtown food shop and cafe will close at the end of the year, at which time Thomas and van der Heyden will focus on a new venture -- operating a bed and breakfast in Colpoys Bay"

"La Pizzeria is a fantastic place to eat. We get delivery all the time and the owner drops it off. He is a great guy, but more importantly, their pizza is so, so very good. I'd highly recommend it, amazing service and food."
