"Sunday was truly a special day for those of us gathered at Westcott Vineyards. The 4 course brunch/lunch catered by Zooma Caterers was a winner as were the wines that accompanied the different courses. All of the dishes featured fresh ingredients, locally sourced and reflected Spring flavours. Steve and his creative team did an excellent job! Thank you all for such a lovely few hours."

"We ate on the patio. It was perfect weather for a dinner on the patio. Our server was very friendly and we were offered drinks right away. We all enjoyed our meals and the servers here are very attentive. They don't just walk away and forget about you (like I have seen at other restaurants)....you have your drink within 2 minutes of sitting down, they ask you how your food is, they ask whether you need more drinks at appropriate times, and they are very pleasant to talk to. They seem to really enjoy working there. The food arrived piping hot and tasted great. We had a really nice time there and will definitely be going back."

"I am so happy that Toute Sweet cafe is still open and new owners are continuing there. This is an ice cream shop offering real Kawartha Ice Cream...not some concoction...pure ice cream. There are about 10-12 flavours you can select from and a multitude of toppings from fresh fruit to gummy bears. The toppings are added to the ice cream on a frozen marble slab. You have your choice of container from a small canister to cookie canister and plain and fancy waffle cones. The possibilities to create your own favourite combo are endless. You can also have chocolate sauce and whipped cream added...they top it all off with a wee chocolate wafer...the best! My favourite combo is chocolate ice cream with strawberries and blueberries with a dollop of whipped cream. My husband, the big kid...has all things candy in his sherbet. There are a few parking spots at the location and street parking. Free public parking is available in the town .just a short walk away. There is a lovely covered outdoor patio beside the shop to sit and savour your ice cream...seating for about 15."
