Although it looked like a regular house from the outside, the interior was spacious and allowed for a relaxing dining experience. I ordered a set menu that included tempura and soba noodles, as I also wanted to try the tempura. When the dish arrived, I found that the portion was just right, not too much or too little, and it even came with rice and a Japanese sweet made from persimmons. The tempura included various mountain vegetables such as koshiabura and taranome, and they were absolutely delicious! The soba noodles were also very tasty and it seemed like the water used to make them was of high quality. I came all the way from Kyoto, but if this restaurant was closer, I would definitely be a regular customer. The staff were friendly and made the dining experience even better.
The location of the restaurant was a little hard to find, but when we got closer, we saw a landmark sign and were able to find it. It had the appearance of a normal residential house. I ordered the 1500 yen "Tempura Soba" and thought the soba had a good texture, and I was able to enjoy real delicious soba for the first time in a while. The tempura was freshly fried and also delicious. The dessert of pear and grapes was included, and I was full. The soba tea was fragrant and came with soba dipping sauce, so I was very satisfied. I would like to go again, but it's far, so I recommend it to everyone.
When my acquaintance's house was affected by flood, I went near the store for cleanup and shopping, and I have only been a few times, but every dish I ordered was delicious without any misses. There are differences in individual tastes, so it's hard to say whether it will suit everyone. It's too far from my local area, and I can only stop by when I go fishing in the direction of Ashikita. Nevertheless, I still want to visit. Also, their regular holidays are the second and fourth Wednesdays, and it seems like they are closed on national holidays and the following day. For more details, please inquire at the store.
