River Front - Abbeville

I travel from time to time to Abbeville from Beaumont Texas. I've seen the construction start and finished with a very nice building in the square. Last night, I went for the first time. Immediately we loved the architecture and all the different pictures and wooden objects that covered the walls. We were welcomed by our server parker. She took our drinks orders and answered some quick menu choices. We ordered and soon afterwards came Parker with our selections. I had the fried catfish with stuffed potato, and my friend had the Hamburg steak with French fries. The food was hot, full of taste and huge portions. Food, service and atmosphere are perfect. I'm not just gonna go by and admire the beautiful building sitting on the street. I'm gonna stop now and make this one of my stops while I visit Abbeville. Thank you. Parker for the care of us and a great work.

The food was delicious, I had the crab cake with eggplants medallions, with crust fish and fried shrimps. My friend had the fried softshell crabs. Our waiter was Hunter Duhon and he was so attentive to us!! Can't wait to go back!!

I've only eaten for lunch today and the Hamburg steak with cheese and gravy. The price was good and the food was absolutely amazing. I probably should have said it was the best Hamburg steak I've ever had! And the service was very efficient. I could eat there and go in an hour and work again at the time.

Excellent. The food was delicious, service was really good. The ambience is beautiful. The prices were slightly higher than the average for the same food, but it is definitely worth the extra. If you haven't tried this place yet, try it.

We had a lovely afternoon meal at the Riverfront. Catfish and crawfish was terrific. We had our 2 dogs with us so were seated on the back patio. They were so nice with water for the pooches. Thanks!
