I don't eat eggs, and when I ask for the pad thai without egg, they say how it won't be good, and talk down to me. Ridiculous. I'm sticking to Thai Basil in Olmstead... they have EXCELLENT service.
Thai Orchid is a uniquely delicious Thai restaurant that is one of a kind to the Pinehurst-Southern Pines-Aberdeen area. The customer service may not be what Americans are used to (constant drink refills, redundant please-thank you attitude, etc. but the staff is never rude or disrespectful by any means. Their menu offers authentic and delicious dishes with many meat-free options for vegetarians or those who want tofu. They have the basics and also variations on other classic Thai dishes. Very good food and people!
Comfortable chairs, real flowers, great food and excellent tea. Great staff and good price. 5 stars all around!
It's easily one of the best restaurants in North Carolina. This Asian restaurant is nothing short of a hidden gem, offering an unparalleled dining experience that transports you straight to Bangkok. From the moment you step inside, the thoughtfully curated décor envelops you in a rich tapestry of Thai culture, with every detail designed to evoke a sense of adventure and authenticity. The staff, warm and impeccably trained, contribute to the restaurant's charm. Their enthusiasm and deep knowledge of the menu enhance the dining experience, creating a seamless blend of hospitality and culinary storytelling. The food, however, is where this restaurant truly shines. Each dish arrives like a masterpiece--meticulously presented, bursting with flavor and crafted with the freshest ingredients. The unique combinations and artful plating are a feast for both the eyes and the palate, making each bite an exploration of taste, texture, and tradition.
My husband and I had dinner at this restaurant last night. They overcharged us by $300 and still haven't given us a refund. If you decide to come here just pay in cash.
