Huddle House - Abilene

Really good breakfast! Everything we got from here was gone! Ordered on DoorDash and got to the hotel quickly and was still hot! The portion sizes are really good (my daughters kids pancake was the size of the whole container). I got the French toast and some tater tots all really good! Husband got a waffle with hasbrowns and bacon and our dog enjoyed the eggs! The cheese sticks are super good too! Pretty good breakfast all around.

Truly enjoyed our meal at the Huddle. Our meals, prepared by Taryn, were excellent and the service our waitress, Rhonda, gave was also excellent. Rhonda is friendly and makes sure we are taken care of.

Huddle House is one of our favorite places to eat when we travel. (We still do not have one in The Woodlands area of Texas. Do not be scared that it is a truck stop. Do not be scared that it is not one you know. We arrived at around 10:30 and were sat quickly. Our waitress Pat was helpful and there when we need her. The food was good. The inside of the restaurant was clean. The restrooms where a bit scary but we made do.

Was good. Fast service. Quick to the table. Good food. Two complaints here. #1emoloyee uniform were very dirty. Like all of them that I saw looked like they been working 24 hour shifts for days and it was early lunch. Idk just didn't look good. #2 and I can't believe I'm about to type this. Never thought I would ever saw this. Ever! The sweet tea was way too sweet. I know right like how would I buy it was literally syrup. I'm thinking more than one waitress had sweetened it not knowing it had already been done. Like more than 2 for sure. I still took it to go and just put it in my yeti added a lot of ice and a few miles down the road it was perfectly sweet sweet tea. Lol not a bad way to end up, not really

The restaurant was empty when we arrived. The staff were nice and appropriately attentive. Credit card machine was down which was easily circumvented by writing a check. The stuffed hash browns were as expected and delicious. The skillet meal literally has two slices of cheese on top that didn’t fully melt and also more sauce than our liking. I would not highly recommend the place yet would stop here for somewhere to eat if driving through town.
