Went to Bing's on a busy Friday night with my boyfriend for a date night (no booking). The staff found us a table straight away and were attentive even though it was a quite a busy night. The restaurant is clean, modern and a breath of fresh air with beautiful plants hanging on the walls. The food was delicious and the prices were very affordable. The wait time wasn't long for such a busy night- which was much appreciated! I had the Satay Chicken which filled up a pretty big plate, along with veggies and sticky white rice. The satay sauce was perfect, not too overpowering and not too delicate, but tantalising enough to polish off almost the entire plate. My boyfriend had the Northern style dumplings and were equally as tasty. If you're after an affordable meal in China Town, make sure to try Bing's. :)
After a day in Glenelg, we stopped at chinatown on the way back cause the night will not complete without a decent asian meal. Decided to eat here cause the place looks good and quite busy. Funny thing, even it is a chinese resto none of their menu have written in chinese. We asked the waiter for recommendations cause we were unfamiliar with the dishes here. At the end we ordered: 1. Traditional dumplings 3/5: the filling was good but the skin rather thick...i prefer thinnet ones 2. Beef briskets with noodle in hotpot 4/5: very recommended. The broth was full of flavour, tasty and rich. Briskets were tender and noodles were soft yet bouncy with unusual shapes 3. E-shan spicy shreded pork with rice 3.5/5: I actually ordered the package with rice but waiter took the wrong order so came out the ala carte one however they gave us a free bowl of rice as an appologetic manner. This dish reminded me of mapo tofu so of course I liked it and yes you need rice to eat with otherwise will be to bold and oily. Despite the wrong order, service was good. The waiter that served us was friendly and helpful. Price also reasonable as their serving portions are very big.

We had a bad experience. They lost our order, waited over an hour for food, only one meal out of three came out. We were disappointed but the staff were apologetic and explained that their register wasn't working properly. So to their credit they gave us a full refund and were very understanding. Will try again another time.
