I recently had a meal at this restaurant and tried their "breakfast burrito" along with a delicious muffin. They serve both lunch and breakfast, so be sure to check out their menu. The owners, a couple, are very friendly and operate the restaurant out of an old bus, making it a very unique dining experience.
My husband and I live abroad and come to Canada every summer to visit our family. Last year on the way to Nelson we discovered Betty O's and since then we go out our way to have breakfast or lunch there. Erin (the owner) is a very friendly person and a great cook! We have never been disappointed, whatever we had it was delicious. Highly recommended.
The breakfast buffet at Ciabatta was perfect. The coffee was excellent, especially the espresso. My friend even went back for seconds. The muffins looked delicious. It's a great stop on the way or an alternative to The Hot Springs. I highly recommend it.
While on your adventures in the Kootenays, be sure to stop in for treats at a Betty O's. Nelson Visitor Centre stopped in had refreshing smoothies and snacks.
