Main Street Saloon - Akron

I decided to try this local Akron spot for lunch recently and I was really impressed. It kinda looks like a dive bar from the outside, but the inside is brighter and larger than expected. They offer a lot of drink selections, and the food menu is extensive. I tried the barbecue special that included a brisket sandwich, mac and cheese, and southern style green beans. It was delicous and satisfying and a great value for $10. My partner tried one of the jumbo burgers and gave it a solid review. Service was friendly and the St. Patrick's Day decor was festive and inviting. There's convenient parking in the back. Give this place a try!

The third-generation family-owned and operated Main Street Saloon, home of Akron 's famous 1/2 lb. jumbo burger, lives up to its motto: 'Often imitated. Never duplicated. ' The owner, manager, and staff are hospitable and always make me feel welcome. The reasonably-priced and flavorful food includes smoked beef brisket, BBQ pulled pork, half or full slab of ribs, smoked wings, chili, cornbread, plus a full bar, and more. Carry-out and a full catering menu are available. The saloon is invested in the local community, having given away about 4,000 sack lunches last summer to school children who may not otherwise have had a lunch to eat during summer break and also collects toys for unprivileged children at Christmas. I highly recommend you visit this tavern!

This is a old friendly bar nothing sophisticated you need a beer and quiet this is the place to get it been here a few times limited mixed drinks

Service was friendly, definitely a biker bar, diverse menu and crowd. Would come again.

They have such amazing burgers! We were so pleased with the food and service. Absolutely recommend this place!
