Packed in butcher paper and handed in a brown pocket. Eat in the side terrace or front. The tea is solid and good. Soup was definitely my comfort food of the day. We got egg salad on Croissant with potato salad with dill) and a Bratbeef, turkey, ham on rye marble bread. They deliver free in Alachua. Worth the ride! Open for lunch only.
As a nutritionist and hispanic, I am quite picky about reviews in restaurants. I can say that this place looks clean and the kitchen (from far away) looks decent. No bad smells. Good prices for what you get. Menu: loves so many veggie options and some including fruits, various types of sandwiches, homemade soups and more. Vegan Mayo and gluten-free options were a plus. Food: Pea soup had a lot of pepper, but it was creamy and good. Coconut chicken soup was amazing! The Cuban sandwich was very good. Potato salad side was delicious. Pesto Pasta needed more season. BLT and another Queraint were also big and good. It is difficult to find good food and homemade soup with healthy choice including vegan, milk-free and gluten-free options.
The atmosphere was very relaxed and welcoming. People were so nice and really seemed to want our visit to be enjoyed. The food was amazing and good priced and portioned, very fresh!!
Quaint and delicious. This small cafe on the main street Alachua can only be opened for a few small hours during lunch, but it is worth a lot.
Friendly service, large portions, fresh ingredients, and great prices! A great addition to Alachua's Main Street for those looking for home made, fresh, healthy eats. Options for Omnivores, Paleo, Keto and vegetarians. Love this place!
