Budha Lounge Cafe - Alaior

Nosotros fuimos a cenar en nuestras vacaciones, aunque también hay desayunos y comidas. Y copas, por supuesto, en un ambiente muy guay. Se cena estupendamente, tanto tapas variadas como platos de carne o pescado. Están bien cocinados, bien presentados y, aunque este año parece ser que ha habido problemas con la contratación de personal, Vicente siempre va volando para atenderte amablemente. Un placer cenar aquí y esperamos encontrarnos cada año (viajamos desde hace muchos años a Menorca) a Vicente y familia.

Tiene una carta amplia de platos bastante atractivos. Presentación buena, camareros amables y la verdad es que estaba muy bien. Para mi gusto, la hamburguesa un poco fuerte y se me repitió mucho pero eso es algo personal.

Just go here, for breakfast, lunch, dinner, drinks, coffee, whatever. Vincent and his staff, Margaret and Antonia and Soraya will look after you, always with a smile and great attention to detail. I have been going here for many years and it truly is home from home. They are all so hard-working and how they manage to serve so many tables is a mystery to me, but everyone there puts a huge effort into catering for what you want. If you want fine dining there are other places to visit, but if you want good food, generous portions, great drinks at good prices and excellent service, look no further. It 's an everyday, everynight bar-restaurant and it does this better than anywhere else! Colin

If you go to the small resort of Son Bou, then the Budha Lounge ia a 'must '. Go there once and it 's more than likely you will go there multiple times. Set at the top of the corner as you descend towards the Beach (La Playa), it 's two pronged offering. One is a sit down/chill out area, reserved mainly for drinks, with chairs/soft seating, partly under cover and partly under trees. The other part is a 48 person area for eating. Open from 8am until 1am, it 's the place for good food, even better service and to gather your thoughts or to ponder your next steps. It 's also a place of familiarity for many of its guests, being as satisfying as the sun 's rays. Be you a self caterer, a half boarder (like me), or a full boarder, and needing a good stopping ground, this is the option. It 's impossible to comprehend how the whole staff do it, because it can be relentless, but their presence, their commitment and their quality needs to be witnessed to grasp the real enormity of the effort. They offer food Brits want to eat as well as foods Brits should want to experience. What more does the palate need other than something to wash it down with? Plenty og f drinks to choose from too. Unless you have a limitless wallet, it 's what the Doctor orders. But take my word on the quality and take your feet to the recommendation. I doubt very much that you will be disappointed, even those who are more difficult to please. PS...Budha Lounge chill out The cooler, mostly drinking area, and set in part under the trees. Seated area is under cover. 3 fans. Sit under them if it 's hot but don 't expect to be kept that cool. Been going to this place for 8 years. My little trear to me.
