For the main course we had arroz con carabineros shrimp rice. It was salty to our taste. Then we had for dessert as you can see in the pictures Pan de Calatrava tarta de whiskey . For my disappointment Pan de Calatrava wasn 't any where near to what I had in other Restaurants. It was ok but not what I expected.
Albacete will not be on everyone's visit list but if it is, or you are travelling between Madrid and Alicante or the coast, then a detour to El Lomo is worth the effort. Not a restaurant to be rushed but one to enjoyed in good company and at ones leisure. Staff speak excellent English and a menu is available in English but best to let the Maitre D' take you through the available choice. Great local wines. This will not be our last visit.
We called in for a menu del día, and can honestly say it was the best we have had in our 7 years in Spain. The dishes were different from the standard fare (although the desserts were the usual suspects! and the portions were very large. For 10 Euros we had three courses, plus a starter of toast and tomato with cumin and garlic, and a drink. The service was friendly and efficient, and the surroundings were elegant. We would unhesitatingly recommend this restaurant.
Has summer terraces with barbecue and children's area that is great. very requested for celebrations.
Spectacular dream wedding agreement. food and very good deal.
