Best coffee house in downtown albuquerque. I've been here a hundred times, and they always get it right. And they have local pastries.
Castle Coffee offers what is, in my opinion, the best tasting coffee in town, whether you select a coffee specialty drink or a simple brewed cup. And not only is their coffee delicious, the friendliness of their service matches the quality of their product. This is the sort of place where employees know your name and show they care.Kid-friendliness: While there is not a lot of space for kids (this is a small coffee shop), the employees are equally lovely and welcoming to all.Parking: On-street parking, some free and some metered. Can park in the neighborhood if the parking by the shop is full.
My experience at Castle was remarkable. Ryan and Matt made my visit special. It is the only option for coffee in Albuquerque.
This is the first coffee I had on my trip to Albuquerque from Seattle, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The first thing that struck me was the atmosphere—calm and cozy with plenty of seating. The next thing was the friendliness of the owners. After taking my order, we chatted about my trip here and Steve I think it was gave me a recommendation, even shaking my hand. Being met with such positivity and human connection was a fantastic way to begin the day. Then last but certainly not least is the coffee.Coming from Seattle, I thought it might be difficult to find coffee living up to my snobby tastebuds. Yet, their lavender latte really pulled through. It looked great, and tasted even better! It’s really no wonder why this place is so highly rated. I recommend it to all, visitors and locals alike.
