Pollito Con Papas - Albuquerque

My staff and I experienced our first time in Pillito con Papas and it was amazing! The owner was inviting. They treated us with so much love and care. As you can see the love they have for each other, as he shared their journey and culture with us. He let us laugh, took his time to explain and share food favorites from their menu, gave us a taste of an amazing dessert, divided a special first time gift. Has turned to his beautiful wife, what amazing food she has prepared for us to enjoy and the sauce, amazing!!! If you didn't try, you'll love it!! If you choose like me, it will not worry and you will have an amazing experience.

This place is definitely a hidden GEM! The staff is very polite and friendly with a beautiful local atmosphere. The chicken empire and stuffed potato with chicken along with Zilantro rice was absolutely AMAZING!! I followed that with her flan that is just delicious! It's done daily! If you're on Gibson from Kirtland AFB or the VA Hospital, that's an attempt!

The chicken and chicken chimichanga were both excellent however the fries were a bit soggy. I had a #4 while my wife had a #1. Service was outstanding and the overall environment was nice. Nice place to stop by for lunch.

Great place for lunch. Small but delicious menu. I ordered the #6 grilled chicken legs and chicken stuffed potato. The stuffed and fried potato is unique with a light bread. Served with inlaid onions and a Chile-based sauce. The staff is friendly and willing to answer any question you may have. Quick service and a popular lunch place. Very recommended!!

Excellent lunch experience, enjoyed the marinated grilled chicken thighs with cilantro-infused rice and spicy cilantro sauce. Fast, friendly service ensured we got in and out in a reasonable time. Highly recommend this excellent local restaurant!
