The poor bartenders are also servers and didn’t really know much about the offerings. What we thought was a lounge menu was the complete menu; 3 starters, 4 entrees and 2 desserts. The wine list had about 8 bottles, that’s it. Sorry to say, if you expect The Rancher’s Club, don’t go.
I am giving a lower rating due to the confusion with the reservation at Ranchers Club restaurant. Unfortunately, they are currently not open for business or taking reservations. Despite this, we were excited for a nice steak dinner before the live entertainment they had planned for the evening. Upon arrival, we were accommodated in the Ranchers Club Lounge, which was in the midst of a "soft-reopening". The venue was stunning and service was commendable considering there was only one staff member working. They are still ironing out the details for their reopening and are facing challenges in finding reliable employees (a common issue in today's job market). The drinks were excellent, the food was delicious, and the entertainment was top-notch. Hopefully, this positive experience will pave the way for the reopening of the Lounge and eventually the entire restaurant.
This place is not what it once was. Google said opened, but it was only cantina menu, and the cantina menu was not what the website said. The food was very sub par and the sandwich brought out did not even match what their severely toned down menu said. Think bad bar food. The veggie sandwich was supposed to have a salad on it, did not, and when I mentioned this, the waitress gave me attitude. Got a really gross spinach artichoke dip that I sent back. The wait staff was eating it in the back. They did refund me at least for that. Bar I would not trust to make a cocktail. I was not offered a drink menu. I asked for one, and was told to look at the beer taps. So disappointed but it had been years. Many other recent reviews confirm my experience.
After making a reservation and confirming multiple times via text and email, my wife and I dressed up according to your dress code for a special Mother's Day dinner, only to arrive and find the restaurant closed. When I asked two hotel employees outside the locked restaurant doors at a nearby bar why it was closed, they found it amusing. This was a disappointing experience.
I made a reservation through OpenTable for a restaurant that was closed and had not been open for some time. They were trying to reopen the week after my booking. I have been using OpenTable for reservations for years, but relying on them for a special occasion like my wife's birthday with a reservation at a closed restaurant is completely unacceptable. We ended up having to eat at Sonic Drive-in because it was too late to find another nice restaurant. Your quality assurance system is broken, and my trust in your company is now gone. I will no longer be using OpenTable.
