After we spent 8 days in Spain, we had lust on authentic Cantonese foods. Surprisingly, this place has the old hong kong with old 80s music in the background. the table is a mahjong table. her menu is simple and has a taste of hong kong. we ordered pork top-free, fried rice and eggplant casrole. for drinks, we have tried their HK-mile, which was not authentic at all. not sure if we were robbed by reis, but the tontop-free was amazing. the soy sauce was really good. the fried rice was somewhat oily and the rice was boiled. the Auberginen-Casserole was not authentic cantonese style, but has its own Spanish twist. it was also a bit too salty, but would have been big with a bowl of white rice. I would again consider that there is hardly any cantonese eating in the crazy center and the aromen were pretty good. the tontop-free was still my favorite.
When someone was born and raised in hong kong, this restaurant caught my eyes immediately when I came past the street! the decorations reflect the hong kong street scene in 70s really reflected and even background music was from the most popular pop singer in hongkong. as family of 4 we ordered 2 hot top-free entrees. you were whammy with dried mushroom and then you were bbq pork with egg. the rice at the bottom of the pot was crispy, so I know that they cooked the hot top-frees on authentic wise! we also ordered egg roll and bark meat chow, which also tasted quite well. I really appreciate that the owner has done a lot of effort to decorate this restaurant and the menu points are authentic typical hong kong dishes. so far this is the best Asian food i hw madrid and the culinary experience is above average.
