Caffe Impero - ALCAMO

Conveniently located in Piazza Ciullo with a beautiful terrace with tables covered by large umbrellas. This is a place to see and be seen. The coffee, pastries and food served here are of excellent quality, the service is both courteous and professional, and the prices are reasonable. We had an excellent spresso, shared a delicious panino and mineral water, and spent a bit of time surfing the net and people watching.

I have just come back from a week in Sicily and stayed in Alcamo. I have to say I was surprised how quiet and the area was and was stuck for things to do most days. This cafe was lovely to come and have some lunch, coffee and ice cream. Some staff speak better English than others but are all friendly and helpful. The ice cream is amazing and so many flavours!! The place got very busy in the evening and I can see why it's so popular. And it was amazingly well priced! The only thing which I actually find a bit funny was the woman who takes payments always looks very grumpy and seems kind of pissed off with everyone haha

The coffee, food, service and location on the square: all excellent! We 'only ' came in for one coffee but stayed and tasted as many different foods as possible. Highly recommended when you are visiting the charming town of Alcamo.

Beautiful square ..colored, lively , good pastries

We visited Alcamo and stayed at the Empire Coffee for a snack at noon. That turned into a pleasant lunch break. Excellent quality of savory, sweet and of course wine. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice location, too.
