Visited for lunch, with friends . Enjoyed our selection of seafood, chicken tapas dishes. Culminating with goats cheese and honey and nuts. Served with good house white wine. Waiter very helpful and pleasant will definitely be back.
A Mainly tapas restaurant which had a good selection of meat and seafood options. Not knowing size of dishes we were going to order two as starters and a couple of main courses. They advised us to order another two Tapas which they didn't have to do. A little moan about having hot meals served on cold plates, it's not uncommon but one of my pet hates. It wasn't busy but we were treated warmly when ordering and having the food served. The baby squid and prawns were tasty but the Chico a little tough. Worth another visit to sample more dishes when it's a bit busier.
Ate here twice in early September and enjoyed it both times. Its tapas and menu is in Portuguese but waiter translated for us. Food was delicious especially the octopus in garlic. We had 5 dishes between two people and that was plenty. The meal was about 40 euros for 5 plates and 4 large beers. The waiter was friendly and efficient. One note of caution we got bitten by mozzies in Tavira so wherever you go out insect repellent on at night!
Comemos ostras e espumante em frente ao rio Gilão por 22€ o que é uma óptima relação qualidade/preço, depois comemos camarões e mexilhões que estavam muito simpáticos, adoro adivinhar em Tavira
