One of the best in Spain, nice food, fair prices.
Somehow, they got our order wrong (we saw on the receipt), so we brought it to the attention of the cook. The cook (Vickie) was extremely rude and unhelpful from the beginning. After waiting, we get our food with one sandwich missing (only 5 out of 6). Vickie ignored us at the counter, so we went to the cashier to bring up the issue. The cashier and Vickie start talking fast in Spanish and making no attempt to help us understand what was going on. Then they point us to go “Ahí.” And Vickie made a smart comment about us not speaking Spanish as she walked into the kitchen. Anyway, we go sit where the orders come out and wait for our last sandwhich as we understood. No sandwhich ever came, and Vickie left after her shift ended. We brought it up to the next worker, and she was kind enough to help us IN SPANISH with no problem. Needless to say, we won’t be coming back. Note: I have lived here for 7 months. My Spanish isn’t great, but everyone else in this country has managed to be patient with me and my boyfriend trying our best.
Highly recommend coming to this place on Sundays and Wednesdays. Can't go wrong on those days especially with prices of mini sandwiches and beer less than a euro and half. Plus, the selection is numerous even if you don't like your order, get another one. I must say the bread alone is crisp and delicious. A must!
Stopped here for a couple of beers The prices are very reasonable and I had a plate of the best olives Ive ever tasted to go with our drinks
