I hadn't been to this restaurant in over a decade, but decided to stop by when I happened to be in the area. Two of us ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger for $13.79 each, which came with unlimited fries. We also ordered a soda for $3.09 and a coffee, the price of which was unknown. The total bill came to just under $36. The burgers were quite tasty, and the fries were good too. However, the prices seemed a bit high, especially for younger diners. I don't think I will be returning anytime soon.
Four of us gathered to celebrate a birthday at my chosen restaurant. As soon as we entered, we noticed several upset customers leaving, warning us not to eat there as we would be ripped off. This set the tone for a negative experience. Our table, located near the bar, was sticky and clearly not properly cleaned. Our waitress, who also doubled as the bartender, seemed frightened and was impolite and loud. She acted as if serving us was a burden. When my husband received a bad beer and requested another, she became defensive and rude. The negative atmosphere persisted throughout our meal, and only improved when we overheard her behaving differently with another table. Despite this, my son still left her a generous tip she did not deserve. Overall, the experience left us disappointed and unlikely to return. On a positive note, the burger I ordered was delicious and well-prepared, and the fries were fresh and hot. The young girl who served us was exceptionally kind and polite. We understand that times are tough with understaffing, but this does not excuse poor service. One bad experience can easily deter customers from ever returning. Sadly, our experience at Red Robin has left a sour taste in our mouths.
Today I went to this restaurant for lunch and was disappointed to find that my order of chicken came with very little BBQ sauce. The fries were cold and seemed stale. My friend's grilled chicken was also served cold. Additionally, when we visited this restaurant three weeks ago, our burgers took a long time to be served and did not taste good. It seems like the quality of the food at this restaurant has declined.
And a new update. Just went yesterday. Wife?s and daughter?s salads were not up to par. What they call a grilled chicken sandwich was a small cold dry chicken breast on a roll with a couple pickles onions and lettuce on the side. My sweet potato fries were extra but the initial portion was maybe 10 fries and cold. And the second basket while a bit larger weren?t cooked properly basically just barely par fried. The place can be very hit or miss depending on who?s in the kitchen or how busy they are. We?ll see which way the rating goes if we go again. The size of their salads has been an issue for my wife in the past, but they've apparently resolved this issue. Her food was delicious and a good portion size. The wings are always tasty. And my Buffalo Chicken sandwich was good. Burgers are tasty as well. and the bottomless fries are a bonus.
