I also tried her pastis de belem, as well as. the famous (which in the did, pass, be next to, but required us to wait in a long line and the people were not so friendly). padaria de portugal became my favorite breakfast in belem
We went on Ttipadvisor's recommendation being a 4 out of 5 but it was not more than a 2. Nothing special at all with the food quite ordinary. Bread was served with individual plastic bags. Service friendly
What a find in Belém! This little gem of a bakery has very affordable light lunches, delicious pastries and we highly recommend their small typical Portuguese cheesecakes. We believe their Portuguese tarts were better than the original recipe from the long queues down the road...at Pastéis de Belém! The staff gave excellent service and most spoke very good English.
