I have ate there a number of times for all 3 meals..And I enjoyed it..The food was good and the people were friendly and polite..I had no complaints at all..I think it 's great that it 's ran by a family and they all work together..And to the ones that had or will have bad reviews Altavista is a small town and we have had stores and restaurants closing here since the Covid..We are very lucky to have Main Street Buffet ...So if you are looking for a high end place to eat maybe you should go to Lyñchburg or Danville...KEEP THE GOOD WORK UP MAIN STREET BUFFET...Kid-friendliness: It is kid friendly..But of course it depends on how well the parents watch their children...But yes it is very well equipped for children..Parking: Plenty of parking most of the time..It does get pretty busy certain times of the day because it is a popular place to eat..Wheelchair accessibility: There 's a side door for wheelchairs..
Excellent! If you like home cooked meals just like grandma made you need to visit. Miss Regina is a sweetheart
Love the food. Just like going to Grandma's for a meal. The owner Regina is a sweetheart.
Would of given 4.5 stars because I thought the price was a little high for what you get. Food was very good but the banana bread was absolutely delicious. Cost per person was about $15 including the drink.
