Husten, this beer cellar. Located on a hill at the edge of the forest. It is best reached on foot. The tasty cellar is the sky that emerges from the forest and sees the tasty cellar. Large large portion of meals and amazing beer round the picture. This is the brewery of Müller Bräu near Reundorf. Your cellar beer is known, but if you see her bock on ****, you also get one of them. You are a nice beer hiking trail that not only leads the Schmausenkeller, but four more breweries on the way, but if you only have time for a place, that is as good as it will!
If you are looking for a nice sit-down gourmet restaurant with descent service, this place is not for you. If you want a place to enjoy good German cuisine and outdoor atmosphere, Schmausenkeller is such a place. Food is very good and reasonable. You just don't run to this place except you know the location. Simply place the address in your GPS and drive, the owners are helpful, but it is better if you speak some German. I love her fried chicken, it's one of the best I've ever tried. If you have children, they can also enjoy the playground. Enjoy!

I love their fried half-chicken--it's one of the best I ever tasted anywhere. If you have children, they might enjoy the playground, too. Enjoy!
First, this is as good as it gets for an old fashion country beirgarten. The beirgartern has both in-door and outside sitting. There is no waitress service. The outside sitting is the classic long tables and benches. Just walk over to an open section, ask if the spot is available, and make some new friends. The owners speak no English, but normally there is a customer or worker who can help translate. The beir and food menus are only in Germany (no English translation sub-titles).The beer (only one kind, no "Miller Lite" here, so don't even ask), is brewed from the same receipt as used in the 1300's. The beir is brewed on site (since the 1300's) and served in classic stone ware mugs. The beir will have a slight bitter taste for the first couple of taste, but is really good. And, the price is great, only 2 Euro per mug. Be careful as the beir is strong (alcohol content) compared to others. Perhaps two mugs at most. The food is very good. They have all the classics. Walk up to the order window, place your order and within just a few minutes, your food is ready. Get there early if you want the roasted chicken (absolutely great). The outside beirgarten has multiply lelvels of sitting, both in shade or in the sun. Restrooms are located on the berigarten side of the building. There is a large play ground for the children with swings, slides, etc. The view is wonderful as the beirgarten is located on the top of a small hill over-looking the village of Reundorf. This is a good place to go with family, friends, or business associates. Take a 15 minute drive from downtown Bamberg and experience a truly local beirgarten with local people, who are wonderful and very enjoyable.
